Now that you realize that God created you to be a queen, there are certain responsibilities that come with your title!
A queen walks with confidence and integrity, kindness and unselfishness. I’m not saying that you have a right of ordering everyone to do your bidding. But let the upright principles of a queen be embedded in your actions. Be a leader by setting a good example for those who are younger than you. Especially if they are a brother or sister. Even a peer or an elder may see you and follow your example.
Proverbs 31:26 She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
When people see you walking in God’s calling, there will be a LOT of reactions.
Some may look at you in admiration and others in resentment. Some will not understand your behavior. They may jeer, whisper and tease. In time, though, you will see the fruit of your behavior. You will receive the reward of a queen.
But, ladies, don’t expect to be perfect all the time. Believe me. From personal experiences, I know that human perfection is impossible. But when you do stumble, pick yourself up with dignity. Keep walking like a queen.
Proverbs 24:16 The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked.
Lately, I haven’t been feeling a whole lot like a queen. I felt frustrated and angry at myself and the world. All my teenage problems seemed to be caving in on me. But just because I don’t see the queen inside of me, doesn’t mean I’m not a queen. Just because you don’t feel the queen inside doesn’t mean she’s not there. Be confident. Remember that when you walk like a queen, you walk in the glory of God.
Proverbs 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
Be loving. Be kind. Be gracious. Be strong. Be gentle. Be loyal. Be confident. Be wise. Be unselfish. I am so grateful for the women God has placed in my life who have exemplified the standards of a queen. I thank God for my mother and two grandmothers because they have inspired me to write this article and encouraged me to be a queen.
Proverbs 31:28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
You are a Queen! You are a representative of Christ! You are called to glorious standards and outstanding strength! You are a most precious creation! Be proud of that crown and long may you reign!
To God be the glory.
