Hey guys! Prom season is officially here! This year, Not Just Another Blog has you covered by showcasing TONS of prom inspiration and tutorials for YOUR natural hair. Today, we have partnered with Instgrammer diva.in.curls to feature the gorgeous, formal look that is perfect for any girl wanted to wear a natural look for prom. It's super simple, so let's dive right in!
You can either start on stretched hair spritzed with water or freshly washed hair.
Grab a section of hair at the front left of your head for the bangs. Section off as much hair as you want. It all depends on how full you want your bangs. I have color in my hair so I pretty much parted out that section for the front twists.
Once parted, put the top front section into a clip to be done last. Put the rest of the hair into a ponytail as high as you like and twist it into 6-7 chunky two-strand twists.
Now take your front section of hair for the bangs and twist it into at least 12 twists.
Allow your hair to set by sitting under a dryer or waiting over night.
After your hair is dry, take twists down and fluff with a pick. Take the back twists and pin up into a styled bun. Your look is complete!
The products I used were Blueberry Bliss Twist-N-Shout cream as my styler, eco styler olive oil gel for hold, and Eden body works control edge gel to slick those edges down.
How simple is this gorgeous, clean look perfect for prom?
